You need not be surprised by the violence and chaos unfolding on your TV screen. The Bible has foretold the wars and battles taking place in diverse places ... political upheaval around the world ... and even America’s precipitous and disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
In fact, these events coming to pass before our eyes are setting us up for the first of four biblical battles of the last days:
The Battle of Gog of Magog!
We are on the cusp of the End Times. The events that have happened in Afghanistan recently have perfectly — for the first time in world history — aligned with the ancient prophecies of the first great battle of the last days. One which many theologians believe will come to pass before the rapture or immediately thereafter.
The battle is foretold to involve Israel, as well as the countries we now know in modern times as Russia, Iran, Turkey, and China.
America is not on this list. Given the insignificant (if any) role America plays in any of the Bible’s last-day prophecies, it stands to reason that the United States will no longer be a global superpower by the time this battle comes to pass.
And America’s rapid withdrawal from Afghanistan — abandoning citizens and allies, emboldening enemies — seems to bear this out.
What we are witnessing right now is the start of a post-America world ... and an unfolding pathway to the battle that will usher the world into the end times.
